In September and October, customers from all over Europe travelled to Northern Germany to be part of Grove’s all-terrain crane events. Staged at Manitowoc’s Wilhelmshaven facility, guests were treated to factory tours showcasing the latest operational improvements, live demonstrations and presentations of the company’s all-terrain crane range. They also witnessed the launch of two game-changing all-terrain cranes – the Grove GMK5120L and the Grove GMK5150XL.

At “In den Sieben Stücken” in north-east Hannover, Germany, two new Potain MDT 189 cranes, one new MDT 219, one MDT 248 and one MDT 178 have been supporting the construction of this new housing development since April 2021. Over the course of the project, 160 residential units will be built. Once complete, residents will benefit from modern apartments spread over a total of nine buildings surrounded by green space.

Middle East-based Lamprell has added to its existing fleet of Manitowoc crawler cranes, with a new 999 model the latest unit to arrive. The company, which provides services to the energy sector, has already set the machine to work at its yard in Hamriyah Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. Here it will help with a variety of tasks in the construction of oil rigs, jackets for offshore wind turbines and more.

Manitowoc has appointed Mobile Cranes Asia (MCA) as its latest new dealer partner in the Southeast Asia region. The company is based in Singapore and will cover full parts and service operations for Grove all-terrain cranes in the bustling city state.

The longstanding Potain dealer for Switzerland and Austria, Stirnimann has been appointed the newest Potain dealer for Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
